Jem Property — Dorrell Apartments Roofing Survey

The Dorrell Apartments project represents Southern Projects' engagement with Jem Property to assess roofing requirements for their residential development on Dryden Road in Southampton (SO19 6GW). This initial phase focused on establishing the technical and commercial framework for potential roofing works across the apartment complex.

The commissioned scope centred on comprehensive site survey work, with detailed assessment carried out by our surveyor Kris May in June 2025. This survey phase was essential to evaluate existing roof conditions, access constraints, and technical requirements specific to the multi-residential building configuration at Dryden Road.

Our technical approach prioritised thorough documentation of roof areas, structural conditions, and access requirements to inform subsequent specification development. The survey methodology ensured comprehensive coverage of all roof areas while accounting for the operational constraints typical of residential developments, including tenant considerations and restricted access periods.

The initial survey phase established baseline conditions and technical parameters necessary for developing targeted roofing solutions. This foundational work provides Jem Property with the technical intelligence required to progress design development and specification refinement for the Dorrell Apartments roofing requirements.
