The commission encompassed a full roof overhaul across 100m² of pitched roof area, requiring complete stripping and replacement of the existing roof covering. This integrated approach ensured compatibility across all roof components while meeting current building performance standards.

Project delivery required systematic sequencing to maintain weather protection throughout the installation process. Material procurement followed a phased approach with multiple SIG deliveries coordinated through January 2025, including waste management through dedicated skip provision. The technical installation methodology ensured proper fixing and alignment of all components according to manufacturer specifications.

Completion was achieved on 3rd April 2025 with full SIG Roofing ONE Warranty certification providing 15 years of comprehensive coverage under certificate CERT10726. The warranty encompasses manufacturing defect protection ensuring water imperviousness throughout the coverage period, with Southampton City Council receiving full documentation for ongoing asset management and maintenance planning.
