Southern Projects has won Gold in the Contractor of the Year category, contract value up to £5m, at the National Building & Construction Awards 2026. The winners were announced at the awards ceremony at the Leonardo Royal, London Tower Bridge Hotel, on Friday 9 October.
About the category
The awards are run by SME Nationals and cover 21 categories across building and construction. Contractor of the Year is split by contract value, so each business is judged against firms working at a similar scale. Southern Projects entered the up to £5m band and was named a finalist in July.
A year of recognition
The award follows our Gold at the NFRC Health, Safety and Environment in Roofing Awards 2025, which included a special mention for workforce engagement, and our appointment this year to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council's scaffolding framework.
Southern Projects was founded in 2024. Our own teams deliver roofing, scaffolding and building envelope work, and Southern Projects Solar installs and maintains rooftop PV, battery storage and LV electrical systems.
Thank you to our clients, our supply chain and everyone on site and in the office whose work went into the entry.
